No Apologies Required

“I’m sorry I’m being so picky.”

“I’m sorry to bug you again.”

“This may be a dumb question, but…”

Please don’t apologize. This is exactly why I’m here.

If you don’t understand part of the home-buying process, that’s okay. Most people don’t buy homes often enough to know every step—and you aren’t expected to. Ask the question. Even if it feels small, obvious or like something you should already know, I want you to ask.

If we’ve toured 20 homes and you still haven’t found the right one, that’s okay too. Buying a home isn’t about choosing something just because we’ve already spent time looking. It’s about finding a place that works for your life, your budget and your future.

And if you’re worried that you’re bugging me, you’re not. Send the text - just not a midnight, please. Make the call. Ask me to explain it again. I would much rather hear what you’re thinking than have you quietly worrying or making a decision without the information you need. I can’t help with a concern I don’t know about.

As for being “too picky”? I get it. A home is one of the biggest purchases most people will ever make. You’re investing a great deal of time, money and heart into this decision. You’re allowed to care about the neighborhood, the layout, the kitchen, the yard, the commute—or the one detail you can’t quite explain but know doesn’t feel right.

My job isn’t to rush you into a decision or make you feel guilty for asking. My job is to listen, answer your questions, help you understand your options and guide you through the process with confidence.

So let’s work together. Bring your questions, your concerns and your must-have list.

No apologies required.

Thinking about buying a home in Stillwater, Perkins, Cushing or Perry? I’d be glad to help you find your place—and feel supported every step of the way.
