Hi there —
I’m Amy Parsons
Stillwater has been home since 2008, shaping my family, my friendships, and the way I show up for this community. Raising my kids here, building lasting relationships, and growing alongside this town has been one of the great joys of my life.
It’s the kind of place where people matter, connections run deep, and showing up looks a little different for everyone — but it always counts. That sense of care and belonging guides how I live, how I serve, and how I help my clients navigate their next move.
When I’m not working with the best clients anyone could hope for, you’ll likely find me enjoying a local coffee, catching live music, cheering on Oklahoma State University, or simply soaking in the everyday moments that make Stillwater feel like home. One of my favorite things about this town is the sky — those sunrise and sunset moments that invite you to slow down, breathe, and reflect. Simple pleasures like that are part of what make life here so special.
My story in Stillwater is shaped by service, shared experiences, and a deep appreciation for the people and places that make this community work — because communities are strongest when people are invested in them.

WHY SERVICE MATTERS
My commitment to serving Stillwater was shaped early on by my mother. Growing up, I watched her quietly and consistently give her time and energy to neighbors in need, our church, and our schools. She never sought recognition — she simply believed that when you have the ability to help, you do. That example became my compass, and it continues to guide how I approach service today.
Service, to me, isn’t about personal achievement. It’s about strengthening the organizations that support families, children, and the fabric of our town.
LEARNING, LEADING & STAYING CONNECTED
Through my involvement with the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce, I’ve had the opportunity to participate in Leadership Stillwater Class #31 and later serve as Co-Chair for Class #32. These experiences offered a meaningful behind-the-scenes look at the businesses, nonprofits, and leaders who help Stillwater thrive.
Leadership Stillwater fostered deep relationships, lasting friendships, and a better understanding of how collaboration strengthens a community. It also helped me better recognize my own strengths and how they can complement the work of others.

SUPPORTING OUR SCHOOLS & YOUTH
I’m a longtime Stillwater Schools Band Mom and supporter, and I’ve seen firsthand the dedication, discipline, and talent of the students and educators involved. The pride, teamwork, and commitment on display — whether at a halftime show or a concert — is something truly special.
I currently serve as Board Chair for Payne County Youth Services, an organization committed to supporting children and families across Payne County. Their work provides critical resources and hope to those who need it most, and I’m proud to support a mission that always keeps kids at the center.

A TRADITION OF CARING FOR OUR COMMUNITY
For more than 15 years, Harvest Community Food Drive has been part of my volunteer life. I first became involved through the Stillwater Junior Service League, and today I’m grateful that the Stillwater Board of REALTORS® continues this tradition through Harvest II, helping address food insecurity right here in Stillwater.
I’ve served in many roles over the years, and what stays with me most is the generosity of our community. In 2023, I was honored with the Oklahoma Association of REALTORS® Good Neighbor Award for my involvement with Harvest II — an honor that truly belongs to the many volunteers and partners who keep this effort going.

LIFE OUTSIDE OF WORK
Much of my connection to Stillwater is rooted in everyday moments. I love OSU football Saturdays — especially during the years my daughter performed on the field as part of the OSU Color Guard. Watching her under the lights, surrounded by school spirit, is a memory I’ll always cherish.
Live music nights are some of my favorite ways to experience the town. We love both small singer/songwriter shows around town to the impressive artists that perform at the McKnight Performing Arts Center or the talented students at Stillwater High School in the band, orchestra, and musical theatre performances - you are sure to enjoy, too.
And like many locals, I have my go-to spots:
-
Tuna Tower at Miso
-
Hot latte at Aspen Coffee
-
The Original at Just Wafflin’
-
Peanut Butter Gelato at Blue Spruce
These places — and the people behind them — are part of what make Stillwater feel like home. I wish could list everything that makes living in Stillwater OK amazing but I'm happy to meet you for coffee and chat about it.
